Job Duties:
Responsible for managing Test deliverables around Oracle Financial modules like AP (Accounts Payables), PO(Purchasing), INV (Inventory), AR (Accounts Receivables), GL (General Ledger), FA (Fixed Assets) and EbTax (Taxation). Lead QA testing efforts for new releases and ongoing application maintenance. Represent QA in preliminary project estimation based on the size of components. Preparation of test strategy, test plans and test cases by evaluating functional and non-functional requirements. Identify, create, execute, manage test cases and automation scripts in HP UFT. Create and execute test cases/scenarios at Integrated Test environment to include functionality, regression, defect retesting, customization testing, scenario testing for new products or enhancements to existing products. Help troubleshoot issues that arise during project lifecycle and operations. Participate in meetings with the IT teams and business teams to discuss requirements, design and testing updates. Create metrics/reports to capture test progress for projects and releases through Test Rail. Create and maintain test libraries and test environments.


Handling testing efforts for multiple projects/releases concurrently. Proactively identify ways to improve testing processes and techniques for a defect less component release. Manage the status of defects and changes in JIRA and provide updates to the project team on daily basis. Attend/conduct meetings with the IT team, business team and other application teams to accomplish project goals. Help troubleshoot issues that arise during project lifecycle and operations. Identify quality risks and issues that impacts project deliveries. Create defects that arise during the testing and collaborate with development team in fixing defects. Interact with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and development teams to identify and refine test requirements during SDLC/
